Middle of July... Round 2

I don't have photos though. It's been over 90 for something like 2 weeks straight (or so it seems).

Dusty's opinion of this weather

It has been warm for a while, but even after a trace clip, and then a higher trace clip, the hair that was left (over the top of him, basically to keep him from getting a sun burn) had been staying put, the shedding down to about what any horse drops when groomed.

Finallly, about a week ago and about a week in to the heat wave, he has started the second round of shedding.

Did I mention it's hot? And that I'm sweaty and what doesn't fall to the floor sticks to my face, arms, and legs if they're bare?

I look at the sticky, sweaty pile of hair all around him on the cross ties, and I don't see another animal. It's too hot to think, let alone play in sticky, sweaty hair to turn it into a sticky, sweaty clump that bears as passing resemblance to some type of creature.

Not gonna happen.

And he's far from finished. Joy!
